Being brave…

Usually when we go for long drives it’s my dad that takes the wheel. He’s totally at ease driving while I used to be a nervous wreck!

I stopped driving for 7 years while I was living abroad, but when I came back home, one of the first things I had to do was get a car. I got back into the swing of it quite quickly, but I was still happy to stick with short journeys.

Today I decided to be brave and ended up doing a 180 miles coastal tour with my dad and I loved every second of it!

We even managed to fit in some time for some photo breaks!

I guess the moral of this is, go do that thing that you’ve always wanted to try but have been too afraid to. Go on that long trip, dye your hair that shade of pink you’ve always wanted to, try skydiving…

You might fail, but hey, you can learn just as much from failure as you can from success. It’s all about attitude.

And who knows, you might just end up having a ball.

The best face masks ever!

I have tried countless numbers of different face masks over the years. Some cheap, some midrange, and some expensive ones.

But I think I’ve finally found the masks for me… Tonymoly sheet face masks!

These Korean face masks are by far one of the best products I have ever used. (Quite fairly priced at ¬£10.49 for 11 different masks. They are also prime eligible. I’ll put the link at the end of this post.)

All 11 masks are different. They range from pomegranate to promote elasticity to red wine for pore care. I have naturally oily/combination skin and my skin is really sensitive, so I’m always a little hesitant with trying new products. I can confidently say that I’ve never had any problems with these masks. No redness, no greasy feeling skin afterwards, just nicely hydrated and soft, clean skin.
This is the second time I’ve bought these masks and it’s definitely not the last time!

New style

I bought some new clothes the other day and decided to take a step away from my usual style (kinda dark / rock style) and stepped out my comfort zone a little.

I have to say that I actually felt really confident! I still relied on the old faithful jeans and boots, but changes should be done in baby steps, right?
